In Hyderabad, the capital of India’s Telangana state, the country’s first-ever ‘Pet Park’ has opened.

Charging each pet Rs. 10 per visit, the park offers many recreational facilities, such as pet playground splash pools, dog trainers, a pet vaccination clinic and separate play areas for small and big canines.

An amphitheatre has been created to celebrate pets’ birthdays, conduct pet shows and screen short films to increase pet awareness. For physically-challenged pet owners, the park has as a wheelchair track, accessible lawns, ramp access and a cafeteria with the menu in Braille.
