Islamabad zoo welcomed a baby zebra and named it Plintoff.

The female zebra gave birth to a male foal on April 11, 2019. Both the animals were doing well and were available for public viewing.

The new born has become an attraction for visitors, Director Zoo and Wildlife Rana Tahir said. He said with the addition of Plintoff, the zoo now had a total of five zebras.

On April 12, two of them were shifted to the F-8 enclosure. Earlier, there were only a few pairs of deer in the F-8 enclosure. Now, two zebras have also been added.
